The engine response is fast, smooth, and beefy over a very broad range of speeds: just what you'd expect from a Hürlimann. Similarly, the engine is equipped with a technologically innovative cooling system: five radiator/cooler cores (engine coolant, transmission oil, diesel fuel, intercooler and air-conditioning condenser) are stacked in series, occupying minimal space while exposing maximum surface area to the incoming flow of air, which is cleaned by a filter of cross-flow design using nanofibre elements with a layered structure, guaranteed to retain contaminants down to particle sizes of 2 microns.
