Terrion ATM 7400

New tractor from Russian manufacturer Terrion looks set to become the world’s largest conventional tractor when it is launched in 2011.
The ATM 7400 will offer a maximum output of 410hp from its Tier 3B Deutz engine, 40hp more than the current leaders in the power stakes, the 370hp tractors from Fendt, Massey Ferguson and Valtra.
The smaller ATM 7360, pictured here at Agritechnica, has a Tier 3A Deutz engine offering 362hp.
Both the new tractors feature ZF’s latest Eccom 5.0 transmission. This 50km/hr CVT gearbox features a built-in generator that produces electricity that can power elements of the tractor – like the fan, compressors and air conditioning – normally driven by the engine, as well electric motors on attached implements.
